The Land & Water Service Group is searching for Spatial Graduates to join the team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, Tauranga, and Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington, bringing your enthusiasm to support a variety of projects across Land Infrastructure and Water projects.,
About the role
In this position you will join our Geospatial Practice, where you will play an integral part in a national team of highly-skilled specialists that
bring ideas to life for our clients. With a focus on growing our Geospatial business and improving the sustainability and social outcomes of our projects, we are actively recruiting for those passionate about working collaboratively and building on the technical knowledge within this discipline.

Here are some of the key things you will do:

Enable field technicians and project managers to better understand the spatial attributes of their project

Create engaging dashboards to present information in meaningful ways

Commit to your own ongoing learning and professional development, as well as share your learnings with others

Be a part of and successfully support multi-disciplinary teams that deliver quality large-scale projects on time and to budget

About you
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A relevant tertiary qualification such as Diploma (or higher) in Computer Science, Geography, Data Science, or Statistics

An interest in IT, Survey, visualisation, etc.

Experience with software such as ArcGIS, qGIS, Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, etc.

Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
-
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
-
Excellent communication
-
A desire to learn and collaborate with others
Graduate positions are available only to those that are currently located within New Zealand or have citizenship/residency and are able to relocate.
