We are looking for an experienced Associate-level Design Manager who is capable of leading large multidisciplinary design teams, delivering complex design solutions under a range of contractual conditions. This role requires a technical background, an excellent understanding of the design process, and the ability to motivate and lead large teams of people.
What will you do?
You’ll be a key part of our successful New Zealand Transport team based in our Tauranga office. This growing team works on a range of projects, delivering digital, sustainable, and innovative solutions to our clients and contractor partners. Key clients would be Waka Kotahi and Tauranga City Council (TCC), and projects would include major cycleway, highway, and multimodal city-shaping projects.
You will be building our team further in Tauranga to meet our growing project demands and implementing our differentiating strategies for the benefit of our clients.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting the Bay of Plenty and NZ’s economic development and it’s the depth of knowledge and experience of our people that really sets us apart. Inspired by our clients’ ideas we use a range of unique creative processes and skills, and work together to re-imagine, shape, and design a better future. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. We are looking for an Associate/Design Manager with a demonstrated experience delivering complex design solutions.
