How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Electrical Engineer based in Wellington with the main core of our Energy and Industrial team, (we also have staff in Tauranga and Hamilton), you’ll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.

Your Role Will Include

• Provide LV and ELV electrical design expertise to a wide variety of industrial electrical projects across New Zealand and Australia with drive and enthusiasm
• Engage across disciplines and geographies, collaborating with other technical SMEs and teams to bring the best solutions to projects
• Provide technical advice to support business and project development, feasibility studies and business cases
• Encourage collaboration and technical development amongst our team working alongside graduates and other intermediate engineers reporting to senior engineers.

As well as experience in a similar Electrical Engineering role, you will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
• Strong industry and technical background (ideally in design for manufacturing, energy or similar industries) mainly with low voltage systems, switchgear design, cable sizing, functional safety and control systems.
• Knowledge and confidence in using tools such as AutoCAD / EPLAN / PowerCAD
• Great communications and collaboration skills
