At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to reduce theft and Organized Retail Crime, a $100 billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organized in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.
Founded in New Zealand, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across Australasia, North America, and the UK.
Auror connects people with intelligence to reduce crime. As a company, we’ve built a high-performing, positive culture with a focus on providing an inclusive environment for a diverse team. If you’re excited about reducing crime and building safer communities, for everyone, then we want you on our team.
The Role
The VP Engineering at Auror is fully focused on the engineering organisation, people, and processes to deliver valuable products and features to our customers in ways that achieve Auror’s business goals. As our VP Engineering, your responsibilities will include:
Founder of Women in Tech NZ’s Slack community and the Auckland Women in Tech Meetup, I’m really motivated by doing work that makes a meaningful difference in the world, and supporting people in all the different ways they need to work well. “Context, Collaboration, and Cake” pretty accurately sums up my approach not only to work but to life in general. I’m enthusiastic about Taekwondo (which teaches me how to fail repeatedly and still persevere), love reading sci-fi and fantasy, and consider baking a good form of meditation. I’m excited to work with people who are curious about how things work, enjoy solving problems, think strategically, and are good at digging into details. Check out my LinkedIn here.
