Description:
What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who can reduce our operational risk and improve availability of the server and network infrastructure and services. Other activities will include:

• Performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain system performance to meet user demand
• Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages
• Collect and analyse operational data (especially incident and change records) to identify emerging trends and log problem records to assist with problem resolution and increased server/service availability.

Skills and Experiences:
The things that are really (really) important

A degree qualification in computing, information technology, or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the position from a recognized tertiary institution.

• ITIL V3 Foundation certificate
• Appropriate technical knowledge, experience, and industry certification as relates to:
• Virtualisation – vSphere suite including vCentre, vROPS, vCloud Director, NSX-T
• Storage – Netapp OnTap & StorageGRID
• Data Protection – Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik
• Public and private networks and interconnections
• Public & Private cloud deployments from leading suppliers (AWS, Azure)
• Cyber Security (Essential8)
• 3-5 years working in an enterprise environment with mature incident, problem, change, and release management principles in place.

All entitlements will be in accordance with the Fair Work Australia National Employment Standards (NES). The starting range for this position is AUD100,000 + superannuation dependent upon skill set and experience.
