Description:
What we are looking for

The position provides support to the organisation and our customers through the development of robust software solutions, including:

Building end-to-end solutions across a variety of channels
Automating business processes so our staff can focus on the really important stuff
Working closely with stakeholders, taking part in all stages of the software development life cycle
Solving interesting performance and architectural challenges
Participating in sprints/iterations
Writing clean, maintainable code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards

The things that are really (really) important

An unequivocal commitment to the Aussie values
Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant industry experience
Commercial PHP experience using a modern MVC framework
Good understanding of web technologies like HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
Good knowledge of databases, including schema design & query optimisation
Experience with creating and consuming modern APIs
VCS (git) experience

Skills and Experiences:

A willingness for self-directed learning
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to design and implement complex software solutions
Background in iOS and Android app development highly regarded
CI/CD experience highly regarded
Laravel experience highly regarded
