Austin Engineering USA is looking for a Finance Manager in our busy Finance Department located in Mills, WY.This position is accountable to the BU General Manager (GM) for improving and maintaining transparent, accurate and complete financial month end process, reporting and analysis, planning and budgeting, forecasting, and order book pipelines. The role will actively contribute and collaborate with the GM in all matters of Operational Financial management. In doing so, is the primary interface with Group Finance for all Operations Finance matters whilst working closely with the Global Operations Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role will lead a small finance team and must be able to provide strong leadership.Experience

• >5 years’ experience managing financial systems, management and financial accounting, profit & loss, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash/working capital management, FX, auditing, tender costing / pricing etc.
• >5 years’ experience in accounting standards, applying standards, taxation laws etc.
• >5 years’ experience managing Finance teams and interfaces across multiple and global manufacturing BU’s.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate and assist others by sharing knowledge and experience.
• Proven ability to work independently while being able to build collaborative relationships to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Proven time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload meet deadlines, and forward plan to ensure work and information is complete and commitments are fulfilled.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently solve problems whilst ensuring service standards are not compromised.
• Commitment to personal responsibility, accountable for actions taken and a high attention to detail.
• Advanced computer literacy (particularly word, excel and email) combined with sound keyboarding skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strict and robust control environment, in line with Austin’s Global Policies.
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Reviewing general journals.
• Managing project costing, job profitability reviews and revenue pipeline / order book management
• Detailed first review of all outgoing bank payments.
• Responsible for the review of weekly cash information.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliation process and state-based taxation requirements.
• Responsible for the submission of month end financial reports with a high level of accuracy
• Preparation of written reports and appendices that accompany month end financial reports.
• Lead the business units budget and reforecast process by collating information from key business development, operations, finance, procurement, and management and compiling the templates provided.
• Project management of this process to enable adherence to set timeframes.
• Overarching quality control review of outputs of the budget and reforecast model at a P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow level.
• Providing strategic assistance to General Manager and Leadership team.
• Managing the inputs in the BU budget and reforecast information to the group.
• Oversight of audit process for the business unit.
• Carry out specific assignments as directed General Manager and Global Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.
