The Company:
Our client, located near Tullamarine airport, is a leading provider of connected automotive, IoT and consumer electronics solutions to major automotive manufacturers, leading enterprise organisations and national retailers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Role Overview:
This role would suit a software engineer with creative problem-solving skills, who is adaptable, able to work autonomously and able to provide input into solution design, technology selection and work effort estimation. The role encompasses:

• Whole project experience including requirements, design, development, unit testing and maintenance
• Clean coding/Refactoring
• Maintaining a clean issue tracker
• Fix issues by addressing root cause
• Bare metal firmware development
• Explicit documentation

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience
• Knowledge of C & C++ programming languages
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analysers, etc
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
