Here’s where you come in:

We’re looking to add a talented and driven Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to our Infrastructure Team. This is a great opportunity to work across a broad range of Cloud technology and skills, in a company that supports learning and development. The journey of moving our services into the Cloud has started and will accelerate in the coming months with the onboarding of this role.

As a fully in-sourced ICT division you will get to work across a range of requirements. This will mean ensuring our systems are running securely, reliably and seamlessly in a hybrid Cloud environment. Working closely with other members of the Infrastructure and CloudOps team, you will also be embedded in projects as a subject matter expert and will need to build strong internal and external relationships as a consequence.

This is a 12-month full time fixed-term role within our Infrastructure team. While our head office is in Melbourne, this role can be flexible in location; work from home (anywhere in Aus), from one of our office locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth or Brisbane, or work across a hybrid of both. Please also note, there will also be an element of on-call work as part of a roster for which you will receive an allowance.

Skills and capabilities

• A robust working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platform services
• Experience in migrating on-prem workloads into the cloud
• Experienced with DevOps practices, specifically CI/CD and infrastructure-as-Code
• Skills to implement & manage orchestration tools & automation of the full technical stack
• Fluent in one or more of the following scripting platforms: Python, NodeJS, PowerShell or Bash & tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner
