Position Overview
In this role, you will take a leading role in a world class team developing products to support Autodesk’s cloud based and desktop simulation analysis and design software. These products involve both web frontends and highly complex engineering programs written in C++.

The successful candidate must hold a degree in computer science or related discipline, possess excellent communication skills and have at least 2 Years industry experience at the level of Software Engineer or higher. Team leadership experience will be highly regarded.
The position has the potential to work from home.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will be a member of a team that analyses, develops, builds and deploy services written in C++ and Javascript as well as implements test automation of the intermediate and end products. Autodesk develops code to the latest cloud security standards and has high internal standards with respect to the development and maintenance of software and test infrastructure
- You will need the ability to work with stakeholders and within constraints, applying an appropriate level of pragmatism to get the job done is essential
- An ability to provide thought leadership on software design and development practices is highly desired
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years software development experience
- A degree/master’s (computer science or related discipline)

Experience in the following languages:
- C++14(or greater),
- JavaScript,
- Python
- (ideally) Experienced in web services, REST and API development (from inception to deployment)
- Experienced with common tools (CMake, Git, Enterprise Jenkins, JIRA, VSCode)
- Experience with Docker (experience with Windows containers would be a big plus)
- Must be able to work well with other people in an agile scrum environment (locally and globally), multitask and maintain high productivity levels
