THE POSITION

As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for a Senior Territory or Territory Manager to join our world class, purpose-driven team, and challenge the status quo in our pursuit of excellence and innovation in animal health and the world.

The Territory Manager’s role is primarily to support commercially and technically customers within your region. Utilizing your background to build relationships with dairies on the health of their herds, you will lead your territory business as though it’s your own You will function as a technical salesperson, but also as a teacher who is bringing never-before-seen solutions to the farm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Empowering farmers to understand their on-farm challenges and opportunities and position AHV products and their application to optimize farm productivity and profitability. Ensure satisfied and returning customers.

Strong follow up and service to become the farmer’s trusted partner in animal health

Acquisition of new farmers to join our AHV concept and approach

Collaborate with other on-farm experts (veterinarians, nutritionists) to ensure farmers are supported optimally

Knowledge transfer to AHV colleagues from farm visits and thus increasing AHV’s theoretical and practical customer and market knowledge

Empower and support farmers to improve their productivity and profitability by using AHV products and solutions.

Ensure farmer satisfaction and return business

Build strong connection with other on-farm specialists (consultants, feed experts, vets, etc)

Support/deliver trade shows, farmer meetings, workshops, etc

IDEAL CRITERIA:

Previous field sales experience (Territory Manager >5 years/ Senior Territory Manager >10 years)

Knowledge of, or experience in, the agricultural sector ideally within the Dairy industry

Experience and ability to work with other on-farm experts such as veterinarians, feed and other consultants

Animal health knowledge or willing to acquire animal health knowledge to support solution provision to farmers

Strong verbal and written communication

Willingness to collaborate internationally with AHV geographies

Bachelor’s degree in related field

NZ right to work

Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed (80% travel expected)

Clean Valid driving license

IT literate

Ability to work both independently and in a team
