avid Hotel Zeeland Hiring for Hotel Laundry Attendant at Zeeland, MI Full Time

The new avid Hotel, an IHG brand, located in Zeeland MI, is looking for energetic individuals to join our team of Laundry Attendants. We are currently seeking to fill part time openings with flexible schedules. The Laundry Attendants role is a key position within the hotel and oversees the hotel laundry process as it relates to sorting, washing, drying, and folding guest room linen and terry items.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following duties:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, and pillowcases). Load washable items per standards in washers and dryers.
• Spot treats soiled linen using approved cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Learn and understand the operating functions of all laundry machines and equipment.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Folds linen and towels according to proper standards. Places clean folded linen on marked shelves.
• Assists with stripping rooms as needed.
• Maintains clean work area; Sweeps and mops floors daily, wipes and dusts hard surfaces and wipes washer/dryer machines down.
• Cleans lint traps daily

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
