A leading data protection company is seeking a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will design and develop data backup solutions using the latest technologies. Software Engineer Pay And Benefits

• Hourly pay: $60/hr
• Worksite: Leading data protection company (Lake Mary, FL 32746, Open to remote)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Design and develop data backup solutions using the latest technologies.
• Own product quality and overall customer experience.
• Propose technical solutions to product/service problems while refining, designing and implementing software components in line with technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code for product components, focusing on implementation.

Software Engineer Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• MS/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field of study.
• Experience with file systems, storage and cloud technology for data backup solutions.
• Experience in programming and/or debugging skills in C#.
• Experience with compliance (SOC||, FedRAMP or eq) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in SQL (SQL Server or Azure SQL).
• An eye for great design and a knack for pushing projects from conception all the way to customers.
• Full understanding of file systems, storage and cloud technologies, emerging standards and engineering best practices.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiar with API design and security concepts (authentication/authorization).
• Understanding of Secure Software Development practices.
• Skills with Office Application Suite Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, both in use and automation.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• .NET, Azure Cloud, Azure (SQL, Compute, Storage, Security, ETC).
• Rest API’s
• Exposure to Angular is helpful but not required.

Compensation: From $60.00 to $60.00 per hour
