AWS Enterprise Networking Team is looking for Software Development Engineers to build provisioning and scaling automation software for one of the world’s largest enterprise networks. The engineers within our team are instrumental in allowing us to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and to discover innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand globally over hundreds of corporate offices.

Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, very detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and has significant experience in supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks. They work hand-in-hand with Network Development teams and Network Operations to automate and invent new ways of operating Amazon’s Next-Generation Network. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with peers and customers is required, along with creating dashboard metrics that reflects the health of our network services. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential. In addition to providing top-tier management and support of Amazon’s vast network infrastructure, they are expected to develop best practices, refine operational procedure and constantly think pro-actively and with innovation.

• Exposure to working in a networking environment.
• Exposure to large-scale distributed storage and database systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Graph Databases)
• Hand on experience with AWS services such as RDS, EC2, Dynamo DB, CloudWatch.
