We’re looking for experienced Procurement professionals, ideally with financial services exposure, high attention to detail and comfortable working autonomously.

As Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of the UK and Ireland Procurement team, with day to day reporting to the Head of Category Management. You will be given the space and autonomy to manage your category (IT), be an active member of the team and support your colleagues when demand balance necessitates. You will be expected to follow a compliant and agreed Category Management process, deliver outcomes to satisfy AXA stakeholders, be suitably risk assessed, generate increased efficiency and value, comply with Ireland’s CBI requirements (and UK’s FCA/PRA requirements if/as appropriate), reduce cost and assure adherence to best practise.
Work with internal stakeholders to gather, assess and challenge business requirements
Manage and coordinate delivery of Procurement process, predominately on IT Category, policy and procedures; liaising with all stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Security, Data Protection, etc
Lead the management of supplier presentations and analysis of commercial proposals and make recommendations to business stakeholders
Liaise with all business stakeholders through the process and subsequently lead on Contract and Supplier negotiations, including commercial terms to secure the best value for AXA
Manage Supplier Relationships through negotiating and implementing IT systems and services contracts for AXA Ireland categories and ensure their compliance to the agreed service, performance, quality and delivery level
