AXA Partners Hiring For Software Development Engineer – Intern at Shannon, County Clare Full Time

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with team members on assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gain an exposure on the skills/technologies required to build software applications (APIs, web applications).
• Supporting applications and learn the application delivery cycle end to end.
• Monitor the applications and find out issues through logging and monitoring.
• Support application containerization and implement CI/CD processes for applications.
• Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Good time management, organisational, and communication skills working in Agile team.
• Become familiar with working and contributing to an agile / scrum dev team.
• Document and maintain software functionality including documenting technical specifications.

Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Completed or currently enrolled in a College/University Degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An excellent team player who knows how to work in steam environment.
• Enthusiastic and keen to develop theoretical and practical skills gained during academic cycle.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Adaptable and solutions driven.
• Good organization & co-ordination skills.
• Technology Hunter mindset and Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.
• The ability to troubleshoot and debug.

Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience

• Completed or pursuing college degree.
• Agile certification is a benefit (not required)
