As a Software Engineer III on the Aya Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) rapid response and remediation (HOT) team, which is focused on fixing bugs and delivering hotfixes, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems and applications that power our organization and empower our customers. SRE teams are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient. As a Software Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for identification, diagnosing, and fixing software bugs and issues quickly and efficiently. You will work closely with other developers, QA engineers, DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers, database engineers/administrators, and key business stakeholders to reproduce, isolate, and diagnose problems and to develop and implement fixes and hotfixes that address them. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of software development, systems engineering, and operational excellence, as well as a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation applications. As a Full Stack Developer, you will utilize your expertise in C# and .NET Core, along with your knowledge of relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in full stack programming for next-generation applications, leveraging C# and .NET Core, relational databases, and distributed n-tier application platforms.
• Applying your strong understanding of business practices to effectively fulfill responsibilities while managing multiple high-priority tasks.
• Playing an active role in the development of new code, bringing your innovative ideas to the table and contributing to the growth of our applications.
• Participating in the scrum agile development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience, demonstrating your ability to deliver quality software solutions.
• Front-end web development experience, with a preference for Angular expertise. Knowledge of Kendo UI is a plus.
• Intermediate experience with .NET, C#, and related technologies such as Web API.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework, enabling you to work effectively with data models and database interactions.
• Strong SQL skills, enabling you to handle complex database operations
• Experience with cloud infrastructure monitoring tools such as Datadog is preferred
• Familiar with TDD, be able to write new unit tests for existing and new code
• An interest for learning new things and an aptitude for getting up to speed on unfamiliar code and systems quickly

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $135,000 to $145,000.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
