Azalea Health Looking for Full Stack Software Engineer I at Atlanta, GA Full Time

Azalea Health is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer I to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of front and back-end software applications. Additionally, your responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and systems integration.

What You Will Do…

• Meet with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects
• Write code that utilizes thelatest design patterns and best practices in an agile, test-driven development environment, ensuring frontend and backend design integrity
• Assist with design and software system architecture
• Partner with the team to design and implement scalable web services, applications, and APIs
• Develop and maintain internal software tools
• Perform troubleshooting and deploy bug fixes
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Collaborate with product owners, customer success, other development team members and software end users to develop continuous product enhancement and releases
• Author technical documents

Background And Skills You Will Bring…

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience required
• 2-4 years of software development experience required
• Demonstrated, progressive experience working with JavaScript frameworks
• Prior experience with PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or others
• Proven ability to write clean, clear and commented code
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in each of these languages/tools: HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL (MySQL), Linux Command Line (Terminal), github
• Experience and familiarity with working in a Linux server environment
• Previous Healthcare IT experience is highly desired
• Experience with ETL processes preferred
• Working knowledge of agile development and continuous deployment concepts and methodologies
• Excellent technical verbal and written communication skills
• Past experience with technical programming is a plus
