Applications Engineer / Project Manager OverviewBaccara USA prides ourselves on the relationships and partnerships built with customers to provide a tailored solution to solve their valve or assembly requirements. The valve division of Baccara USA focuses on providing engineering expertise and custom designed product to allow our customers to develop state of the art equipment. The assembly division of Baccara USA works directly with manufactures to identify assembly requirements and provides a completed electrical or mechanical assembly solution to seamlessly fit into the customers current production process. SummaryThe Applications Engineer / Project Manager will be involved in both the valve and sub-assembly divisions of Baccara USA. The AE/PM is responsible for ensuring Baccara products meet the highest standards. The AE/PM Engineer will be responsible for managing project development from initial customer requirements, BOM creation, vendor selection to processes and procedures for manufacturing. This position will play a key role in meeting our customers’ product development, delivery, and quality requirements.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support outside sales with technical questions and product selection
• Interact with customers to understand project needs and requirements
• Develop technical presentations/proposals
• Work with international design engineers to meet customer application requirements
• Project Management – Manage multiple sales and development project to ensure timely execution
• Multi-tasking in fast passed environment
• Reverse engineer customer sub-assemblies
• Build product BOM and identify suitable components and sources
• Build and maintain parts and BOMs in ERP system
• Develop and manage product assembly methods and procedures
• Create Production Work Instructions
• Build First Articles of Wiring or Mechanical Assemblies
• Ensure that products are compliant with quality standards
• Design and implement fixtures for testing, inspection, and assembly
• Troubleshoot production, quality, and vendor part/delivery issues
• Create formal test reports
• Lead cross departmental teams
• Develop company wide ISO procedures and Standards
• Other responsibilities as required by management
• Travel up to 30% of the scheduled work time

Education and/or Experience

• B.S. Engineering Degree from a four-year college or university
• Project Management Experience or PMP certification a Plus
• Experience in Priority ERP a plus
• Experience in product design a plus
• Experience with wire crimping a plus
• Experience in the pneumatics or fluid power industry/or related field is a plus.
• Must be proficient with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling systems
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must handle multiple projects at one time
• Self-motivated – Able to drive projects with little guidance.
• Experience with ISO quality procedures
• Ability to work in High Stress environment

Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:
