We are currently recruiting for a full-time Administrative Assistant in our Custom Homes and Cottages division.
This position will be based out of our Oakville office at 557 Chartwell Road from Monday- Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
THE POSITION
· Greet customers and visitors in a professional manner
· Answer, screen and forward phone calls to appropriate employees
· Issue purchase orders and follow up with sub-trades
· Prepare agendas, schedule and organize client meetings, internal meetings, travel, and department activities
· Filing, data entry and other general administrative duties as requested
· Basic accounting skills
· Assisting with accounting administration of custom home files
THE REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to work independently and take directions from others
· Outgoing and friendly personality
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
· The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
· Experience with Simply Accounting and basic accounting considered an asset
