About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Enterprise Leader – Improvement & Insights the BI Developer will be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytic solutions that turn data into knowledge that will support better decision making. The BI Developer will also play a pivotal role in enhancing our Business Intelligence capability which will aid effective decision making that will be integral in supporting operational delivery and sustainable growth.

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have exposure to the following accountabilities:

• Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into technical requirements, working closely with Functions and Operational Excellence Leads to establish requirements and key performance indicators to enable data driven decision making.
• The ability to collect and critically evaluate data from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and provenance is established and the appropriate data analysis can be performed.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating front-end Dashboard visualisations and reports that provide end users with trusted data that is presented in a contemporary, intuitive and easily accessible format.

• In-depth understanding of BI technologies specifically Tableau
• Experience with database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Strong understanding of integration technologies, data warehouses and enterprise information system
• Strong understanding of user experience, contextualisation of information and well-structured reporting
• Previous participation in organisational and industry community of practice to share knowledge, expertise and best practice lessons
