Your new role:
As a Software Engineer, you will bring with you demonstrated previous skills and experience in the development of specialised software systems.

Within our JORN software team, you’ll work on areas such as UX design and development, SW design and architecture, interfacing with HW and signal processing. You will be involved in ground-up, cutting edge developmental hardware projects.

We have a growing team with the opportunity to constantly learn and carve out your niche in an area that interests you.

You’ll have interaction with many other teams and stakeholders such as RAAF operators and JORN maintainers, as well as engineers in other disciplines.

We’re a strong team that takes pride in what we do and how we work together, with a lot to offer a software engineer looking to expand their skillset.

About you:

• Hands on experience in working in a Linux development environment
• Strong working knowledge of C/C++ Programing language
• Experience in object orientated programming
• Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of several software development lifecycle options, and experience in at least one (e.g. agile, waterfall, spiral)
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tool suite.
• Strong ability in defect analysis and rectification
