What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a Software Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2025 who is hungry for real-world experience on our Bandwidth Voice dev team. We’re seeking somebody who loves building things, loves learning things, and aspires to be a great engineer in the future. Ideally, we’ll find somebody who comes back to work with us full time upon graduation.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be working with a team that is dedicated to dealing with massive data sets and optimally processing through them in near real time. These systems drive delivery of information to both internal and external customers. Optimal code and system setup will be critical to enhancing these systems to meet the business needs. If these types of problem sets interest you, we’d like to talk to you!

What You Need:

• If you’re our person, you probably look like this: 

  • Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an equivalent course of study 
  • You’re passionate about the craft of software engineering 
  • You’re passionate about writing testable code, and your non-complex test automation proves it 
  • You enjoy working on both back-end and front-end projects 
  • You’re excited learning about both relational and non-relational database technologies 
  • You’re excited learning about automation, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment

Bonus Points: 

Wow, it’d be really great if also: 

• You have experience in developing products in an Agile development environment 
• You have a high-level understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud services 
• You have a high-level understanding of data ingestion pipelines for real-time analytics 
• You have a high-level understanding of modern, streaming technologies
• You have a high-level understanding of designing, creating, and working with RESTful APIs
