Property Finance Group (PFG), Corporate Banking, is responsible for Bank of Ireland’s largest and most complex real estate relationships & transactions. We provide finance for real estate investment as well as construction & development projects across all sectors of the market (office, retail, residential & industrial), and balance sheet lending to listed property companies. We have teams based in Dublin, London, and Belfast with clients including large domestic investors, institutional investors, private equity investors and high net worth individuals.

Purpose of the Role

The position will be on the Dublin team, whose role is the origination of new business, and to handle a substantial portfolio of high value Property connections through the highest standards of relationship management and meeting clients’ financing needs with continued excellence in credit risk management.

Key Accountabilities

• Build and maintain of good working relationships with clients, by providing friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assist producing of term sheets, discussion documents, credit reviews and credit applications.
• Preparation and analysis of cash flow models
• Assisting in the collation of management information reports
• Contributing to the achievement of financial targets, risk management controls and compliance standards.

Essential Qualifications

A relevant academic qualification.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong communication skills – verbal and written, including credit or report writing experience.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial information.
• Evidence of delivery within timeframes while managing conflicting priorities.
• Customer service experience.
• High level of IT proficiency.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Understanding of banking products with experience of dealing with customers.
• Experience in the provision of top quality customer service.
• Knowledge of the property sector
