Job Description:*Nursing Assistant – Palliative Care/Med/SurgWeekly Hours: 35.25Shift: 3rdStatus:Full TimePalliative Care/Med/SurgPalliative features all-private rooms and primarily focused on providing services for palliative care and end-of-life care, along with care of oncology/medical/surgical overflow patients. Previous palliative, hospice and/or oncology experience is preferred, but New Graduate nurses welcome.Job Summary:The Nurse Assistant assists the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients. All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and are under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual’s job.
