Securities Confirmations Team Analyst

As a Barclays Securities Confirmations Team Analyst, you will be responsible for building out extensive sets of metrics, reporting, and data analysis using world class technology. You will also form part of a team of Regulatory subject matter experts to meet and deliver critical regulatory requirements to the various rules and regulations in supporting of operations.

What will you be doing?

* You will primarily be responsible for the build out of metrics, reporting, and data analysis through the use of cutting edge analytics tools including Alteryx, Tableau, and Symphony

* Developing expertise in the team’s daily control functions that support various rules and regulations

* Working to continuously strive for improvement of the existing operational framework

* Performing detailed analysis on client operational issues; this includes identifying control gaps; re-engineering of processes to resolve ongoing issues

* Collaborating with Global confirmations, front office and technology colleagues to drive change within the organization’s infrastructure

What we’re looking for:

* Bachelor’s Degree

* Two+ more years of Metrics / Management Information / Analytics experience in Operational role

* Two+ years or more of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Skills that will help you in the role:

* Excellent skills in the use of documentation, planning and presentation software tools e.g. Advanced MS Office, SharePoint, Visio skills, MS Access

* Ability to understand, interpret, draw conclusions from data and communicate findings in clear and convincing manner to stakeholders

* Ability to liaise between the business, IT and the functions to create common terminology by moving away from technical or product specific references

* Ability to present metrics and process risks at senior level including possible solutions on the way forward
