As a Barclays Business Intelligence Developer, you will deliver pragmatic solutions to demanding business environment spanning across Sales IT. This team delivers a suite of products that provide transparency on the global client franchise to enable smarter business decision making. In this data savvy role, you will get the opportunity to interface directly with stakeholders to understand their Management Information needs and develop state-of-the-art, data analytics and visualization solutions.

What will you be doing?

• Be responsible for developing Data Analytical solutions on Sales, Trading and Customer relationship management (CRM) data points of an Investment Bank • Be responsible for developing an understanding on data warehousing and fast data retrieval design and techniques • Using data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau to design advance analytics solutions Sales and research Business Intelligence (BI) problems • Working on an Agile software development framework with multiple teams (like – Product Management, QA, UX Design etc.) • Be responsible for providing data insights using NLP and other machine learning techniques on structured and unstructured data sets using Python/ R

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in modern data analytics platforms • Understanding of Data warehousing principles • Experience on standard databases like SQL Server • Four-year college (or equivalent) degree in Technology or related field

Skills that will help you in the role:

• 2+ years of experience with BI tools like Business Intelligence Technologies – Qlik, Tableau or Power BI • Experience on working on AWS platforms and/ or Salesforce dashboards/ Tableau CRM • Understanding of UX design principles for authoring powerful visualizations and story boarding • Knowledge and understanding of Python or Java programming
