Collections Team Manager Wilmington, DE

As a Barclays Collections Team Manager, you will report to the Team Lead and manage, coach and mentor a team of non-exempt front line Colleagues. You will serve as a resource to operation policies and procedure, while communicating and driving daily team and individual metric performance. In addition, you will act as point-of-contact for escalated customer inquiries.

What will you be doing?

• Managing daily staffing and workflow, and ensuring adherence to department quantity and quality standards

• Identifying service delivery failures and escalate issue/impact to appropriate business owners

• Meeting regularly with individual team members; coaching them to meet and exceed their metrics and sales goals

• Utilizing reporting and direct observation to keep team members abreast of their performance towards those goals

• Providing performance analysis to implement action plan strategies to improve overall performance

• Acting as a resource for policy, procedure, and human resources questions/issues

  What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a management environment

  Skills that will help you in the role:

• Banking, credit card, or call center experience

• Superior interpersonal and leadership skills; proven ability to develop and motivate employees to meet and exceed performance standards

• Strong understand of SL, Collections, Strategy and staffing management
