Barker’s Hiring for Team Coordinator Job at Winchester Full Time

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Team Coordinator to join our Finished Goods team and operate as a reliable 2IC to our Warehouse Team Leader. The role is based at our Winchester Warehouse, hours can be agreed, but will be Monday to Friday, the warehouse operates 2 shifts, 7am – 3.30pm and 10.30am to 7pm.

Our Finished Goods team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of movement and receipt & dispatch of stock, while providing a high level of customer service to our factory teams and customers.

We are looking for individuals who have a high focus on health, safety and quality and an understanding of stock control and warehousing procedures. Some technical background would be an advantage.

This role will be responsible for (but not be limited to):

• Providing back up support to the Warehouse Manager as and when required.
• Support in the training and development of team members
• Assistance in coordinating team resources and tracking of performance metrics
• Ensuring all quality systems and procedures are followed
• Help plan for what the future looks like
• Assist in continual improvement and implementing change processes

To be considered for this role a candidate will:

• Lead by example when it comes to health, safety, and quality.
• Have a passion for developing others and their own leadership skills.
• Have a Forklift license and be a skilled Forklift Operator
• Be able to work well under pressure and have a growth mindset
• Ideally have worked within a logistics role or warehousing environment
• Be able to continually challenge the norm, and implement change
