We urgently need skilled and experienced builders labourers to join our busy company.  Your primary task is to integrate and support our current labourers on various projects.

You will:

• Build and construct timber structures and fittings i.e. retaining walls or fencing.
• Prepare and box-up hard surface areas for concrete or asphalt.
• Load and unload various materials from work vehicles.
• Clean up a project or worksite at the end of the day.
• Work as a team member.  Follow instructions from the foreman and be prepared to help co-workers.

Skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge of basic building and construction methods and terms. 
• Knowledge of worksite safety rules and methods.
• Knowledge how to operate manual and power tools correctly.
• Knowledge of correct lifting techniques.
• Operate heavy machinery or drive heavy vehicles.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience working in a building or construction environment.
• Full drivers’ license
• Physically fit and adaptable.
• Hours of work: 40hrs per week.
• Starting pay scale: $25.00 p/hr.
• If required the applicant must complete a drug test.
• Applicant must hold a valid Work Visa or New Zealand Citizen or Resident.
