We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you duties would be:
Export Shipping Areas
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of accountability. Must be able to access SDS forms and EHS procedures on the computer.
Must be able to pass the fork truck training and safely operate a fork truck. Must be able to read and understand shipping authorization instructions. Must be able to operate the #3 blender super sacks loader through a complete blend cycle. Must be able to properly fill, stencil and store super sacks from #3 blender. Must be able to load a 20’ super sack container (double stack) and a 40’ super sack container (single stack). Must be able to operate the #3 blender Tote Bin loader. Must be able to determine the correct type of Seabulk liner needed by checking the Shipping Authorization. Must be able to build and install seabulk liners. Must be able to properly stage and load seabulks. Must be able to wash, grease, and properly inspect railcars for shipments. Must be able to properly select and stage additives for FCC domestic shipments Must be able to follow all written or verbal instructions from the Lead shipper and work, unsupervised, to task completion. Must be able to properly label all miscellaneous materials in sacks, drums or other containers. Direct drivers of trucks to proper loading area at proper time. Perform other related duties as required and assigned by Supervisor. Must show ability to safely operate, maintain, perform minor repairs, and make proper adjustments on associated equipment in work areas. Must show ability to read, write, count, and perform accurate arithmetic calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be willing to participate on the Site’s Confined Space Rescue team.
MBC SHIPPING AREAS
Must be able to access MSDS forms and EHS procedures on the computer.
Must be able to set up scales, chutes and conveyers for pellet loading and blending. Must be able to operate blending elevator and related equipment Must be able to operate the bag packer and related equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. Must be able to determine proper blending quantities for MBC pellets blends.
Must be able to wash, grease, and properly inspect railcars for shipments. Must be able to properly fill, stencil and store super sacks for shipments. Must be able to follow all written or verbal instructions from the Head shipper and work, unsupervised, to task completion. Must be able to properly label all miscellaneous materials in sacks, drums or other containers. Direct drivers of trucks to proper loading area at proper time. Perform other related duties as required and assigned by Supervisor. Must show ability to safely operate, maintain, perform minor repairs, and make proper adjustments on associated equipment in work areas. Must show ability to read, write, count, and perform accurate arithmetic calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
ADDITIVE AREAS
Must be able to access SDS forms and EHS procedures on the computer.
Insure proper procedures and process orders are used in the manufacture of Additives products. Must be able to correctly weigh and blend components for additive production. Must be able to correctly store additives and raw materials by lot and grade. Must be able to identify and select the correct lots and amounts for pure and domestic additive shipments. Must be able to correctly sample, label and deliver additive production and retain samples. Must be able to locate and inventory all additives and raw materials Must be able to generate SDS shipping labels for all additive shipping packages and containers using MES Must be able accurately weigh and package additive production campaigns for transfer to and from Decatur Training Center using MES Must be able to use the computer and scanner to control additive raw material and finished product inventories. Must be able to follow all written or verbal instructions from the Head shipper and work, unsupervised, to task completion. Must be able to use respiratory protection as necessary. Which includes maintaining an annual fit testing certification.
RECEIVING AREAS
Must be able to complete proper receiving paperwork on all inbound packaging supplies and materials. Must be able to insure quantities of material being received and match against the receiving invoice. Must be able to properly label and store materials Must be able to complete inspection and receiving paperwork for returned tote bins Must be able to properly receive, inspect, and store returned tote bins Understand, monitor and operate within process safety operational guidelines and report process safety incidents. Complete process safety training as required by company
Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
