Bay Path is seeking a full-time Nursing Scheduler who will work with nursing leadership on the facility’s nursing schedule.

The Nursing Scheduler will perform the following responsibilities for the nursing schedule:

• Schedule nursing and nursing assistant coverage with on-duty nursing staff, or call in off-duty nursing staff as directed to promote adequate nursing staffing for all shifts.
• Update time schedule corrections and ensure timely and accurate posting of the nursing schedule.
• Review staffing with Director of Nursing to ensure staffing hours are within budgeted staffing patterns.
• Work with payroll/human resources to ensure accuracy of the nursing schedule in time and attendance system. Enter nursing schedules for new hires in the nursing department
• Update and maintain nursing roster, process nursing staff time off requests and coordinate schedule change requests from nursing staff
• Develop relationships with nursing staff to find mutally beneficial schedules and accomodate time off requests.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Experience in clerical, organizational office management.
