BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a FREE TRAINING program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker, DCW, graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice.

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers, DCW:
Successfully complete 40 Hour Direct Care Worker Course, provided by BAYADA

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:
Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
