Marketing / Social Media Coordinator

Baza Dance Studios is looking for a high-energy candidate that understands social media and is excited about marketing. The marketing / social media coordinator will work with the studio owner and programs director to launch new social media and marketing campaigns and paid advertising that will help grow the studio, reach its ideal clients and essentially change more lives through the joy of dance!

This will be a part-time position with 20-25 hours / week expected, and possibility of growing into a full-time position.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Market the studio and programs at the studio and in the marketplace.Instagram & Facebook

Google, Yelp, etc.Research partners for advertising needsAttend events that require representative of the studioCreate & build community partnerships

• Collaborate with owner to create annual marketing plan for the studio
• Coordinate and manage the creation of digital content
• Organize digital content and upload to planning app (i.e. Later, Storrito, Canva, etc.)
• Work with owner / program directors / teachers to create communication and promotions for each season
• Maintain and manage all our social media channels
• Update or oversee updates of website
• Organize and manage all in-studio communication postings
• Oversee and organize all studio photos and videos
• Ensure all students have a photo and video release agreement in place
• Suggest strategies and methods for improvement
• Regularly track our Social Media Insights and implement changes as necessary
• Develop and monitor ROI and KPIs
• Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends

Key Priorities:

1. Work with owner or Enrollment Coordinator to fulfill student enrollment goals each month and

quarter with an effective marketing plan

2. Ensure that all social media and marketing is done on time and that metrics are being analyzed

3. Make marketing and advertising recommendations to the owner based on trends that are happening

in marketplace
4. Ensure that the studio is seen as the “Go To Studio” in the community

5. Know the studio’s brand promise and how it is being delivered to students at all times

Requirements: :

• Exceptional command of the English language including strong communication skills – interpersonal, written & verbal
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Excellent & engaging creative writing and communication skills
• Ability to balance analytical and creative tasks
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Experience working with various Social Media Platforms and Planning applications
• Artistic eye for photography and videography
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Integrity and Reliability
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be flexible to changing business needs
• Dance experience is an asset but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
