REVENUE ANALYST

As a Revenue Analyst, you will work within the Finance Division to help the organization achieve its objectives by bringing an analytical, systematic, disciplined approach to the Revenue Department. You will evaluate, improve and control the effectiveness of business processes by performing operational revenue audits. Through this you will accomplish loss prevention, determine the efficiency of internal controls and processes, and ensure that audits are performed to standard.
In this role, you will be responsible for analysis of revenue data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with internal controls. You will also review the point of sale sessions for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, fraud and lack of compliance with laws, government regulations and management policies or procedures. Other responsibilities include data analysis and loss prevention, interpretation of key financial data, financial account reconciliation and assisting with investigating and reporting procedures.
You bring experience as a financial professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are an excellent communicator and multi-tasker, with an ability to work effectively within diverse teams. You are a flexible, self-starter with a strong focus on working relationships and customer service.
You have successfully completed intermediate accounting courses and possess a minimum of two years’ accounting experience. Enrolment in the CPA program at the Professional Education Program (PEP) level would be considered an asset.
