SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS) COORDINATOR

As a key member of the Safety, Health & Environment team, the Safety Management System (SMS) Coordinator uses sound judgement and awareness to provide high level, efficient and confidential administrative support services on a proactive and responsive basis to the Safety Management System team.
Reporting to the Director, Safety Management System, you provide support to operational teams with safety information, such as dynamic data, reports, communications, and publications. You will assist in the management of the SMS, safety website organization and content, fleet communications and SharePoint to ensure continuous quality improvement and access to these systems.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, is a team player who can work with multiple individuals and departments simultaneously, is self-motivated, and can work under pressure within time constraints, while prioritizing and completing tasks appropriately.
Your background includes a degree or certification in Business / Office Administration and Practices or a related field, and a minimum of five 5 years’ experience as a Coordinator or similar administrative role, with a minimum of 2 years’ in Occupational Safety & Health or a regulatory environment. You have a high level of experience with MS Office suite applications and SharePoint.
