In this role you will be responsible for handling escalated service issues, monitoring customer service levels, tracking and determining source of issue trends, and developing an improvement plan. You will ensure timely turnaround of all customer service correspondence.
A snapshot of this opportunity
Effectively communicate to client to research, resolve, and log service issues within a specified time
Maintain thorough understanding of the client’s business as it relates to BCD Travel and can monitor changes
Actively communicate current knowledge of various travel industries supported (air, car, hotel, etc.)
Follow up on any pending refunds / vouchers from airline or other vendors
Professionally and appropriately respond to client inquiries and develop a positive working relationship
Consistently meet and sometimes exceed individual and team goals
Is mindful of the client service level agreement in all transactions
Seek assistance from others, including suppliers for the resolution when appropriate
How you can set yourself apart
You have minimum 2 years’ experience in a corporate travel office in the past 3 years
You are proficient in specified GDS (i.e., Sabre)
You can work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
You have excellent customer service skills
You have proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
