BDIPlus Looking for Full Stack Engineer at New York, NY Full Time

The role of Full Stack Engineer is instrumental to our success as a business. As a Full Stack Engineer for BDIPlus, you will be responsible for the end-to-end phases of the software development life cycle including technical research, requirements analysis, high level and technical design, improving user experience, shaping the face of our new products, building internal tools, implementation of enhancements to the product, unit testing, debugging, and maintenance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team here at BDIPlus.

What You’ll Do

• Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large scale web platforms
• Analyze and solve difficult problems across the stack
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build high scale backend services
• Work on BDIPlus products and on client-specific projects

Who You Are

• Related Work Experience: 3+ years in software development
• Education: minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• A team player who can work collaboratively to come up with creative solutions to problems
• Exposure to Big data technologies
• Experience with AWS (preferred)
• Experience working in an agile development process (preferred)

Technical Skills

Must have:

• Hands on experience with Python or Java – Spring Boot (JDK 11+)
• Hands on experience with MySQL 8+ or other similar Relational Databases
• Experience or knowledge on NoSQL Databases including and not limited to MongoDB
• Strong understanding of Design patterns and best practices
• Experience with create Rest APIs through node or spring boot
• Experience designing, implementing and using web services in a Microservice Architecture
• Experience with Troubleshooting / debugging.

Good To Have

• Experience or knowledge on Node JS v12+
• Experience or knowledge on Apache Kafka

Nice To Have

• Familiarity or knowledge on Angular JS
• Familiarity or knowledge on HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with CI/CD exposure with AWS
• Familiarity with Datadog
• Familiarity with Big Data eco-systems
