BDP International Hiring for Network and Systems Admin at Chicago, IL Full Time

Perform administrative support and maintenance functions for all servers, network, and Azure infrastructures as well as managed cloud services that include Splunk, CrowdStrike, Evolve IP etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware/software support. Diagnose and resolve incidents including PCs, laptops, printers, network equipment, servers, and applications
• Develop and implement network infrastructure designs based on industry best-practices to meet business and technical requirements for highly available systems environments.
• Participate in project delivery work that includes, design, configuration, and deployment.
• Daily troubleshooting and support for all local and remote users as needed to ensure continuous workflows for all users
• New hire profile and system setup and onboarding
• Analyze and troubleshoot the network logs and tracks the nature and resolution of problems. Monitor usage to ensure data security and controlled access privileges. Respond to system generated alerts.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes and procedures, servers, and service records.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve user access and permission problems
• Perform system installations, operating system patching, backups, and maintenance
• Respond to Help Desk Tickets as assigned, track and resolve as required
• Attend to additional duties as assigned

• Four-year degree preferred in Computer Science or related field with relevant work experience

• Minimum 3 – 5 years experience as Network and Systems Administrator responsible for LANs, WAN, WLANs, routers, switches, servers, Azure/AWS Cloud Services, remote connectivity, and other related technology
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, Windows 10, Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Hyper-V, Azure Active directory, Azure Compute, and related cloud technology
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, SharePoint, Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Knowledge of SDWAN, QoS, WAN traffic optimization and prioritization
• Experience with Dell Servers and SANs, and Fortinet Network Devices
• Experience with Splunk, CrowdStrike, Evolve IP, LastPass, Zendesk, Go Daddy, DNS Made Easy
• Knowledge of PDQ Deploy and PDQ Inventory is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must
• Experience with network traffic monitoring tools is a plus
