Role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our diverse and talented team working with wood & fibre clients and a range of other clients within the region. This is a varied role where innovation, sustainability and delivering the best for our clients are at the heart of each decision we make. Overall you will have the opportunity to:

• Work across various electrical systems and equipment, anything and everything from 11kV down.
• Design and development of instrumentation and electrical systems, including single-line diagrams; motor-starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules to name a few.
• Instrumentation and Control system applications.
• Project management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield plants.
• Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software & installation work.
• Detailed design, contractual report writing & construction-related services.
• Demonstrate abilities and passion for providing technical advice to team members and embracing a culture that values teamwork
• Short to long-term assignments at New Zealand and Asia Pacific industrial sites as part of engineering teams, working on projects through concept development, procurement & implementation.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$70,000.00 to 100,000.00 depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

About You

You love to learn and share knowledge and can bring a fresh perspective. You are an EI&C Engineer with a passion for design, an inquiring mind, ability to problem-solve and think. You will have at least five years of relevant work experience.
