We are proudly employee-owned, and after a century of operation, employee ownership remains key to our future. It underpins our positive, purpose-driven, and growth-oriented culture; it sets us apart in our markets and gives meaning to our social contract. We are accountable, have each other’s backs, don’t let others down, and strive for excellence in everything we do.
We recognise that one of the challenges people can face in building their careers is managing work and home life. We encourage you to find an arrangement that works for you, whether part-time, working from home or flexible working arrangements. We are open to discussing how this could work for you for roles across our Industrial team.
We make the everyday better.
Our Industrial team are creative and loves what they do each day to make everyday better. We are passionate about what we do and the culture we have developed. The more diverse we are, the better our ideas, strategies and client solutions will be, and the more we will better represent our world. We know we are stronger when people from different backgrounds and perspectives work together. We are committed to growing an environment where our people have equal opportunity to build a career that reflects their ability and passions, believe in their potential, feel they belong and can be their best selves.
We always work as a team; whether you’re a graduate, intermediate or senior, we work together to develop new ideas and share technical innovation to push boundaries and challenge the status quo to achieve outstanding results for our clients.
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Palmerston North team who loves to learn and share knowledge and who can bring a fresh perspective. You will get the opportunity to deliver a wide variety of project types and will be willing to get into the stretch zone while being supported by our senior engineers. You will be a qualified Mechanical, Mechatronics, Process, or Electrical Engineer with passion and good problem-solving skills. You have grown your skills within a similar project delivery environment, where you have built your technical design and project management experience through undertaking projects for and on industrial sites.
Every day will be different and bring new challenges; overall, this role will see you involved with:
About You
You will have an enquiring mind and be able to problem-solve and think laterally. You will be comfortable working independently within your project team, showing initiative when managing and communicating your time and priorities. Pride in your work and attention to detail and a strong focus on ownership will be important to succeed in this environment. While not essential, experience across either energy or food & beverage would be advantageous, as would experience in process safety.
How you work is important to us – we value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue learning from your peers and more senior team members. Working amongst a group of highly motivated professionals, you will step into an open and supportive culture that values the skills you contribute to the group.
