As part of our wider business of over 4,000, our Tauranga office of 300 people from various disciplines works out of our offices in the city centre. As our team goes from strength to strength, we are looking for a Technical Director/Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the team in the Heavy Industry area.
From mineral extraction and processing to energy production, manufacturing, and construction. We take pride in working in this core economic sector and our reputation based on innovation and long-term client relationships. You will have a passion for technical problem-solving and working with others to proactively deliver our clients’ projects while simultaneously growing the skills of those around you.
About You
You love to learn and share knowledge and can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around them and constantly seek better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience. You are a Mechanical Engineer with established experience in the Heavy Industrial sector. This role would suit a versatile heavy mechanical engineer who thrives on diverse technical challenges and has a desire and ability to lead and mentor a team. Being a values-driven individual, you will enjoy sharing your colleagues’ successes and delivering excellence.
Your strengths in technical leadership, project delivery, client relationships and guiding and mentoring staff will ensure your success. You are passionate about the opportunity to grow others, motivated by being in leadership roles with the ability to ‘own’ the delivery of quality client outcomes throughout the region.
