This position is eligible for remote work. This role will have occasional on site expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and document existing application code
• Provide maintenance support to existing systems
• Develop new high quality back-end systems
• Perform new application development
• Define functional design for requirements implementation
• Database structure definition
• Integration with legacy data & applications

Job Requirements

• Understanding of Object Oriented design and programming.
• Java experience
• SQL experience.
• 2+ year of development experience
• Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM), preferably Hibernate.
• Experience using web presentation technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS
• Use of IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Experience building unit tests using JUnit.
• Experience using Source control systems like Bitbucket and GitHub

Skills

• XML and related technologies such as XSD, JAXB, XSLT, etc.
• Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM), preferably Hibernate.
• Experience using web presentation technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS
• Use of IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent.

Base Pay Range

$64,000 – $80,000

Physical Requirements

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
