About the Position
A Paraplanner assists Principal Advisor in creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. Associate will consistently follow high standards of professional ethics, legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
– Provide a best-in-class service experience to a select group of clients, Principal Wealth Advisor and internal associates. This entails frequent communication with clients and internal associates – both verbally and in writing
– Serve as liaison to firm professionals and clients services associates in the research, review and execution of sensitive and/or high priority tasks
– Providing direct support to Principal Wealth Advisors in daily aspects of client service, advising, and plan execution
– Coordinate timely onboarding and new business processes within internal guidelines
– Manage and synthesize client data in various systems, create financial plans, briefs, and synopsis
– Prepare preliminary planning recommendations and review/edit them for accuracy and completeness
– Prepare initial product solutions and illustrations for advisor review and use in client meetings
– Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients
– Develop tax, estate, portfolio, and robust solution recommendations that will fit the client’s risk tolerance and time frame as well as develop appropriate product deliverables
– Execute client service model, process requests, and resolve service issues
– Meeting prep and follow up of action items
– Review and update client information as needed.
– Prepare and review paperwork to implement strategies and recommendations
– Work with clients to resolve issues and help make progress towards goals
– Maintain client contact during the financial planning process.
– Respond to ad hoc requests, coordinate/track projects
– Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested, as it relates to servicing their accounts
– Additional projects as needed or proposed

About You
Education and Experience We Value:
Prior experience with a financial advisory practice is required
Proficient and comfortable with digital tools, onboarding and servicing
Must have or be in the process of receiving relevant education and licenses – CFP® or equivalent.
