Paint Store Assistant

Job Description

Description and Requirements

– 8:00am – 5:00pm weekdays including rotating Saturdays 10am – 3pm

– Assist customers in a professional and timely manner

– Provide knowledgeable product assistance to customers, assessing their painting needs and advising on solutions

– Tint, mix and color match paint

– Actively participate in all store activities including stocking shelves, pricing, inventory ordering, maintaining displays and keeping store neat and tidy

– Have an eye for color and a strong interest in interior decorating

– Ability to work rotating Saturdays and lift up to 40lb

– Open to learning and assisting customers in all areas of interior decorating including paint, flooring, window coverings and cabinets.

– Comfortable working with computers and their applications

– Process all sales transactions using QuickBooks point of sale

– Energetic and able to multitask in a busy environment

Job Type: Full-time or Part Time
