Description:The Digital Copywriter is a skilled writer, able to craft compelling copy that’s tailored to fit within all digital channels ranging from enhanced product copy, video, website, social, paid media and email. The Digital Copywriter must be able to adapt their writing and become the voice of the customer for our different brands and strive to continually grow our customer base and help convert customers into buying our products.

• Ensures consistency in brand messaging across digital channels while adhering to Bestway’s Brand Standards
• Becomes the voice of the brand – speaking directly to the customer in a way that builds a relationship and ensures life-time customer value
• Develops copy in multiple voices speaking to different target audiences
• Writes informative, brand-right enhanced product content that is compelling to the customer
• Creates copy for all digital advertising including website, paid media, and email.
• Works closely with the Social Media Specialist to ensure the same voice of the customer is consistent across all channels
• For technology driven products, delivers copy that makes advanced technology easy to understand
• Develops and maintains processes to ensure all members of the Ecommerce and Marketing teams understand workflows
• Collaborates with Creative Services, Marketing, and Product Development to create attention-grabbing messaging
• Execution of all work completed by deadline
• Continually looks for ways to improve copy standards and continually refines to ensure Bestway is aligned with industry standards
• Follows current industry trends, social sentiment, competitors, and winning campaigns
• Develops and maintains a library of current reference materials and tools for internal use
• Proofreads and edits, as necessary
• Develops Ecommerce product descriptions using technical product data, product industry databases, and existing Bestway product descriptions
• Develops, implements, and maintains digital style guides and standards for copy
• Audits content throughout the year to ensure copy and brand standards are met
• Keeps up to date on the latest Bestway’s products, solutions, and related technologies.
• Is well-organized and independently balances multiple simultaneous projects quickly and efficiently
• Uploads, maintains, curates, and archives work files using job tracking systems and servers
• Works closely with digital designer on all digital creative content

Required Education and Experience*:

• B.A. in English, journalism, advertising, marketing, or related field of study
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and editing skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years’ writing experience in digital marketing or related field
