Community Ambassador – Eastern Massachusetts

Better Business Bureau of Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont is a values-based organization that promotes trust within the business community.

We are looking for a Community Ambassador to represent us in Eastern Massachusetts. The pay range we are offering is $17-20 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:

The Community Ambassador will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community driven. This position requires someone that possesses a positive attitude, a readiness to be a team player, and the ability to work independently. Essential responsibilities of the Community Ambassador include, but are not limited to:

• Initiate, plan and attend events in the community and at businesses, reaching out where people live, work and shop
• Attend and exhibit at trade shows, farmer’s markets, expos and similar events throughout Eastern Massachusetts
• Event set-up and breakdown
• Manage events calendar
• Coordinate event logistics
• Track event budget for all event marketing initiatives

The Community Ambassador will be driving a BBB Branded vehicle and must have a safe, secure place to park it.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be proficient with Google platforms
• Possess excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Be friendly and personable with an outgoing personality
• Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and a comfort level driving in all types of weather
• Have the availability to work some evenings, weekends, and overnights
• Be able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Show proof of Covid-19 vaccine (required)
