Beyond The Blue is a leading Australasian based DMC/IBO. We are on an exciting growth path and are looking for a Senior Consultant/Operations Manager (New Role) to join us in our Auckland office!

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located on the North Shore with flexibility for some remote work. Beyond The Blue is seeking a Senior Luxury Inbound Consultant/Operations Manager to assist in the significant growth of our travel portfolios. You will be responsible for creating bespoke itineraries for offshore agents and operators, ensuring that all aspects of client itineraries are to the highest exacting standards. You will also collaborate with suppliers, attend trade shows locally and offshore and facilitate team planning and work flow, alongside managing systems and processes. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that internal targets are met.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or certificate of training in tourism
• Fluency in English with additional languages a bonus
• Self motivated with exemplary to customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt communication styles
• Demonstrated experience in sales and ability to meet targets
• Extensive knowledge of Tourism Ecosystem in New Zealand
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with a good degree of future facing tech curiosity
• Experience with creating bespoke itineraries and managing a portfolio of clients
• Strong people and time management skills
• Experience with travel reservation systems is a plus
