Beyondchai Hiring for Muslim Matchmaker Consultant at Remote Full Time

BeyondChai is looking for professionals who are willing to take on the challenge of the marriage crisis facing the Muslim community.

As a matchmaker you will be spending time understanding the needs of your clients and matching them according to relationship aspirations and compatibility. As a trusted advisor, you will have honest conversations with your clients, helping them navigate through the marriage process, setting expectations & reality checks, and become a sounding board and finding pathways to help clients be successful.

Success at BeyondChai is not all about delivering matches but its also about helping clients successfully navigate through a process that is often daunting, overwhelming, and exhausting. It requires you to befriend your clients and to be seen as a trusted advisor and an attaché.

As a matchmaker you will employ positive psychology to identify and build on clients core strengths and help them be more hopeful during the matching process. You will also nurture positive emotions that will broaden the thinking of your clients and enable them to connect more closely with their prospects.

As a matchmaker you will approach each of the clients with a positive and upbeat outlook and help them see the big picture rather than focusing on small annoyances & differences as they consider prospects.

Key role & activities:

Match clients according to relationship aspirations and compatibility
Conduct consultation calls
Actively obtain feedback following proposed matches
Apply client feedback in order to fine tune matches
Should be caring, compassionate and empathetic
A good listener and exhibit empathy
Great at team-work
Well-organized and methodical
Competent with documentation
Open and comfortable using personal social media to advance the mission of BeyondChai
In possession of good, basic skills (Microsoft Office and email)
Ability to network and socialize with various organizations, masajids, influential members of the community to market services and to seek guidance and improvements in the process.
Attend local and national events including PR and Marketing based events to promote the BeyondChai efforts.
As a brand champion you will rely on your personal social media and core network to build relationships and amplify the mission of Beyond Chai.
