Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC) Hiring for Human Resources Manager Job at United States Full Time

The Human Resource (HR) Manager is important to BISAC’s success. Employees are our most important asset and the HR Manager will be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR.

Here is a list of some of the duties that an HR Manager is responsible for:

• Manage the recruitment and selection process. Attend job fairs, post openings and network/outreach to recruit quality workers.
• Review and screen applications/resumes and forward to appropriate directors for interview selection.
• Process and onboard new hires, including conducting reference and background checks, processing of new hire paperwork, reviewing and ensuring new staff are aware of key policies and procedures.
• Maintain and ensure that employment requirements are being met and maintained.
• Assist and participate in various audits, reporting and credentialing processes.
• Be available to answer questions from current, former and potential hires regarding various Human Resource questions.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the current Federal and State laws governing the issues of confidentiality and employment laws.
• Assist with all other duties as assigned by CEO and Director of Operations.

Work Experience:

– BA in Human Resources or Public Administration

– Minimum 3 years experience in Personnel/Human Resources, with 2 years minimum of clerical experience, preferably in a human services non-profit agency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
